Blue Christmas Service 2024

The Blue Christmas Service is a gathering set aside for acknowledging grief during the Christmas season. People in grief often get the feeling that others get tired of hearing about their feelings--they feel that there is no place for them to talk about their hurt. This can be especially true in the Christmas season, when their pain is often greater and the world is more focused on trying to be happy. This service is reserved as a space where feelings of grief are welcome and expected. Jesus came to share our grief, and this service helps us to remember the way the Good News brings comfort in our most difficult moments.
