Living Water

In John 4, Jesus speaks with a woman who is working hard to draw water from a well. He promises her that he can maker her into a "spring of living water" that will never be thirsty again/ What does that promise mean? And how does it change the life of a woman who is struggling just to live and be accepted in her community?
